gust of wind, nudged me
today
my left cheek, this time
I, turned
to greet it and looked, and
waited
till my eyes, give-out
or cheeks
age, into docile numbness
I shall
Forever, turn to look and
wait
take your time, if you must
but please
do visit as often, as you can
my dear
till we ride, fate’s winds
side-by-side
again

Beautiful dear Mek. 💖
thank you, my friend!
It's a great feeling to be visited, gives an uplifting start to the day, and a little bounce goes a long way.
yeah, that's the exact scenario
these scribbled words, were inspired-by
how very perceptive of you, dear poet
thank you;
'a little bounce goes a long way.'
I so agree!
Boom! Now that's a way to start a Friday or any of them, each moment even! Lol
Always a pleasure, thank you
it's Always my privilege, brother
thank you, for just being: You!
That's my kind of poetry. A kissing breeze of a lifetimes longing.
Into my favourites.
what a rare and valued Poetic, treat!
I'll count this
as a cherished accomplishment, sincerely!
thanks Dusk
it aint hard to see why
'of Wind brushed, cheeks' is proving to be so very popular ..
I can feel & sense it too sir .. just like one of Mr. Kipling's cakes .. exceedingly good & true ... Neville
now they, were seriously good adverts
made you crave a bite, every time
'don't make-em like dat
these days, eh friend'
lol (my grey hair's, are talking again)
still, cheers Hyung
🍻
'here's to that way of life
we can never get back, to
and those beloved souls
who we can only
reach-out, to
by the gift
of a gust of wind...'
Dear Mek !! the last Line made the difference. Was waiting what you have in store and you ended in beautifully !! Nice write ..
here's a free hint, dear poet
next time just read the last line: first!
don't wait, needles suspense
ain't all that great
so, make sure its got an ending you like
before you start;
(it's what I do with my read-to-forget
novels
because I ain't putting myself
through an emotional roller-coaster for hours
(I'm kinda, a wannabe speed reader)
just to have the story, end on a downer
no, thank you!
so if you're like me
and real life offers you
all the dramatics and sorrow, you'll even need
then skip ahead, to the end
and be kind, to your own
calloused heart! lol
(thanks for the supportive and fun comment)
A delicate poem, of spiritual connection. Beautiful and sad
welcome, and thank you
for taking the time to read
and then write
such an encouraging comment!
(and what a great pen name
you've chosen
a 'believer of daydreams'
'now that's the kind of mind
that can imbue, Hope
in-to everything they ink...')
Wow thanks so much for these very kind words of encouragement 🙂
A mixed emotions spurred inside
Was the heart waiting for someone to visit by
Maybe an old acquaintance
Her presence the wind carried beside
Maybe it was soothing feel of the wind that helped bring peace to my mind
Beautiful dear Mek
you read me too well
I'll have to start writing my scribbles
in Sanskrit to give you a challenge, lol
thank you, kind poet
'soothing feel of the wind: that helped bring peace'
indeed!
I will try my best to live up to your challenges dear Mek
Simple peaceful and lovely....awaiting the kiss on the wind....
yeah, why else would I scrub
exfoliate and cream
me face,
every: morning!
'just in-case, yes indeed just
in case
serendipity, chooses to encase
my cheeks, with a whispered
gift...'
(forgive me, I'm just a fool
squeezing-free, my life's
light-hearted lemonade, of fun
from these scribbles, I share) lol
and thank you
for taking the time
to pen such a kind and supportive
comment, dear poet
A beautiful gentle poem. Really lovely.
thank you! so glad you enjoyed the read, dear poet
A beautiful gentle poem. Really lovely.
Wonderful words Mek, may we ride fates winds with wonder.
Andy
it goes without saying, but
hope you know, the bravery
you exemplify: daily
helped inspire these words, my friend
thank you! and your muse...
(Spring will soon be here, dear poet
and you can pen your poems
that take us with you, on your walks
around that favourite lake
where your muse: awaits)
