Turn Celestial

Jewelia

I made up the moon and the stars, like make-up, a rose on her cheeks and accentuated bone structure

This sky I designed and we fit in the patterns of soft woven flesh

Here, our love is saturated

Don’t tell me I will one day leave this behind.

I won’t wait eons I’ll tread the heavens with ice skates

Cutting open, arranging myself deeper in the pockets of desire

Priceless, unrecognizable

There is something irreplaceable about the feeling of being unfinished

To be had again won’t give it up

When the sky melts behind my eyelids we are nothing

And that makes us together
