Frail Heart

Daydream Believer

frail heart

so wanting to be loved

pumps to the dullest sounds

as life hounds this soul

to let go

yet I take these weary feet

push my limbs

to shift this fragile frame

quench my thirst for life

within the fallen rain

my eyes

my mind

unkind

for I feel blind

to any self worth

each day a curse

to write in verse
