Looking to the past

pearlsofdew22

In the haze, lost

there are the memories,

it's so hard to find them

when you are close

of permanent absence.

Smells, joys, tears

stagnant in the brain,

tirelessly search

return me

the life that is leaving me.

I have an old soul

that invades the external structure

of this thing that wanders

aimless on earth.

I am a ruminant entity

a flat chair,

an empty space.
