I want to be a beautiful rose that blooms in the sunshine and the petals haven’t wilt.

I want to be so bright and beautiful like the sunshine before the rain falls down

I want to be empty of all hatred and bitterness and jealousy.

I want to be starlit like the starry night sky before the clouds start to wither in

I want to be what you want me to be, but yet I can’t

I want to be as beautiful and elegant, like I once was before

I want to be okay with me and just say you are beautiful just the way you are

I want to be able to look in the mirror and see the girl that became her scars and not let the scars become her.
