The Lord Loves Us

Lord, let Your love come from thee, because human love can be blind;

Your love is all we need when in a bind;

Your kindness is what we need, as our eyes turn to thee;

We pray that You will take our hurts, fears, and evil thoughts from me,

until such time our restless hearts are soothed in peace;

Your love will come unrestrained to us indeed;

Your Spirit is within us, and we glow with warmth and loving care;

Hold us in Your unwavering embrace each and everyday;

The Lord Loves Us and that will never go away.
