The truth seems overrated
and the lies never end.
The way you played the game
to you, it was all pretend.
With words so broken
laid to rest beyond the dead.
My heart is shattered
from every lie you said.
I believed them all though
and now all I feel is pain.
You took away my innocence
and left me nothing to gain.
One day may I find out the truth
before my final rest.
If you want a broken heart
Liars are the best.

Beautifully expressed,.."from every lie"- there's a phrase "fool me one,shame on you,fool me twice,shame on me. But I understand it's hard not too give the ones we love another chance,..and another,and...🌹🤗✌🕊
