Solidified

ForeverJesus7

I always believed,
there was a God.
I always knew,
that He was real.
I always knew,
Jesus was His son,
and one day His presence,
would be revealed.
I knew He died,
on the cross,
and left The Holy Spirit for us all,
and the promise that one day,
He would return for His people,
and that Satan and his evil,
will fall.
I believed I would go to Heaven,
if I accepted Jesus in my life.
Sadly however,
I did not,
truely have Jesus Christ.
I believed in Him,
but did not live for Him.
So one day I asked myself,
'Where will I go when I die?
Is this how I want,
to live on earth?
Is this the legacy,
I want to leave behind'?
So I asked the Lord,
to come into my heart,
and write my name,
in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Now as a Christian,
I know my reservation,
in Heaven is Solidified.

My life has taken me on a wild ride,
After I accepted the Lord,my fate was solidified.
He gave me life,He has given me love,
I believe that God is leading me from above.
I owe my life to only him,
Who has given me strength, and Satan to condemn.
Thank you Lord for all you have given me,
Life, love and liberty.
I belong to you and I will never hide,
My love and truth, thus we are solidified

I was long long dead
due to my iniquities
daily carrying my cadaver wandering
I was very very far from the Glory of God
I preferred death to life
darkness was surrounding me all the way
I was blind not to perceive the love of God
I did things that no man could forgive
I was worse than the devil
But the love of God is priceless
letting his only begotten son
put off the crown
and strip every raiment of royalty
to descent from the throne
come down and be enslaved here
he carried all my iniquities at Calvary
and gave his blood to cleanse my sins
my corpse was given life again
now I'm breathing some fresh air
for the Lord has forgiven me
a place is booked for me in heaven
for my faith in him is solidified.

I thought I fell apart,
but He put me back together.
He mended my broken heart
and will fix forever and ever.
I have doubts from time to time,
but He'll surprise me nevertheless.
He'll remind me you are mine
and how I am truly blessed.

  • Comment from author about the poem: It is so important that we believe and have faith in Christ Jesus, and that we live for the Lord. Still, if we do not ask Christ to forgive us of our sins, and accept Him into our hearts, then believing, and having faith, and all the works in the world will be in vain. The only way into Heaven is by accepting Christ. - Jesus saith to him, I am the way, the truth, and the light: no man cometh unto the Father but by me. - John 14:6 - Persistence is key
