Walk Away

Jessi

You can't fight for yourself,

You can't get what you need,

Because there's it on your side,

And blocking every move that feels right.

It just won't let go,

And bothers your restless soul.

Imprisoned in your own home.

Too much feelings you don't need.

Suddenly you see this light,

Shining bright.

Stretching out your hand,

But seeing it distancing to this far far land.

Knowing what it means,

Knowing you're still not free.

This light fading,

A shadow raiding.

Eating the light with its big frame.

This person comes closer,

And you see a new dangerous flame.

You've been here for so long,

Watching love fading while being so wrong,

The happiness long gone.

You see these eyes from day to day.

Getting tired and annoyed.

Your soul screaming with your head!

Don't go near him,

Walk away!

From this place being so grey.

To calm your nerves.

To be relaxed.

To not end yourself mentally.

Walk away!

Search for another way.

Even though he holds you back,

Says it's because of love.

Remember all the chances you gave which he abused.

Walk away!

Go find another way.

On a path of light and happiness.

Follow the bright light you couldn't reach.

Be strong and leave!

If he truly loved you,

He would let go for you to get happy.

But he holds on,

Knowing exactly your happiness is long gone.

Walk away...
