You were gone, But the sun would still rise, You were gone But the stars would still shine, You were gone But the birds would still sing, You were gone But the seasons still changed, You were gone And the world just moved on The world waits for nothing, so stop waiting for the people you lost, to return

Sad feeling !! and nice touchy write poet !!
Thank you for your feedback!
for some, the very concept
is too painful to comprehend
for other's
the thought of removing
a loved ones, presence
completely from their lives
is like killing a part of themselves
so they, create a feasible
way of transmogrifying
their emotional connection
in-to, a thread
that lingers, even after
the demise and rot, of flesh..
(kinda like
how some amputees
stop feeling that psychosomatic effect, of itch
after some time
and yet
some others
still cling, to that sensation
of itch
till their very last breath)
it's just another example of the differences
that make us all, so alike and so unique: simultaneously..
(whatever works best for you
is your answer
but
we must accept, another answer
could work better for others)
no really right or wrong,
each to their own..
Very lovely!
