Songs

Draven

Share with me your sacred moments

your most remembered stories,

including the ones once forgotten

and all the horrors and the glories.

Let your love out, free

don't leave things left to hide

It's advised not to die

with your songs left to fester inside

  • Comment from author about the poem: I was listening to a meditation the other day and one thing was said that resonated with me "Don't die with your song inside". THIS is so important and it is why I am pushing myself to write AND POST and PUBLISH my poems and writing more often. I have a lot to say, sometimes I don't know how to say it or I am scared with with whom to share it. But, I suppose it doesn't totally matter. :)

I agree with every syllable, of your write and even more-so with your author's comment..
never be scared to share, at least with me, dear Poet
Sing your Truth: Loud n Proud!
    else they choke you, drowning
    under all those
    unshed, frustrations and regrets..
    ink them loose
and walk a little lighter, in life
