I lost my voice today

Strange it may sound

I couldn’t find it

I lost it in that moment

It stayed lost all day

 

She said hello

No big deal, right?

I got stuck in my head

After that moment

It was gone all day

 

I’ve been trying to work on myself 

To talk to more folks

Around a beautiful woman 

Who’s kidding

I’m lost

 

I wrote a note

Explaining myself 

For my appearing 

Standoff’ish

But I thought that was lame of me

I threw it away

 

It’s been a rough

Tiring, long day

I’m now feeling sad
