Memories

Jessi

You look up,

You look down.

You can't find cause your run.

You're still here,

Won't go near,

To the place filled with tears.

You think back to those times,

You felt sunshine inside and out.

You think back to those days,

You felt excited every single day.

You think back to waking up,

With the sound of the sea and the loving ones around.

You think back, and you wish you could go,

To those times...

When the problems wouldn't reach you're heart.

When you're eyes shone with happiness.

When you would see you're family every day and every night.

You think back to those times,

You were sitting by bonfires.

You were walking down the beach,

They would shout for you and reach.

They would search every hole,

Cause you were always somewhere else,

Playing and laughing with your friends.

Feeling sad...

You never said how much they mean.

How they make you feel.

How they take care.

How thankful you are that they are there.

Not just family but good friends.

Sending all of you the brightest, warmest light,

To shine up your whole life.

Sending you a lot of flowers,

To fill your heart with love, lasting neverending hours.

Wishing you the best and even more,

Cause you deserve a thousand stars.

A thousand moons.

A thousand suns.

A thousand galaxies and even more.

To all those souls who bear with me,

I'll always be there you'll see.

Thank you for taking care.

Thank you for smiles that weren't rare.

Thank you for hearing cries.

Thank you for your beautiful soul,

For being an important part and making me whole.

For never giving uo on me.

Thank you for making these hard moments,

These hard memories that make us sad,

Or even mad,

Bearable and good,

Filled with warm bright colours in this cloudy sparkling bay,

That scare away the grey...
