Rain, Mountain and You

Alexander Pope III

It is raining since night

Stars have hidden under the clouds

Curfew in city is supporting the rain

But clouds have clouded my mind again

Tea is simmering with hope

Plants are taking the dope

But some thoughts are flying high

Higher than the clouds in the sky

Did rain god talked to you

And mentioned my name

Or your plants whispered in your ears

The story yet to unfold

We once lived in Mountain hamlet long time ago

And so were you there with no ego

Fresh as flower and white as dove

Why we left that mountain hamlet ‘o’ dear

Mountain was happy and we had no fear

We were happy and young

And many songs were sung

Youth rejoiced with beauty

in sun and rain

And there was no pain like in today’s rain.

‘O’ dear why you feel the pain

On seeing today’s rain

we are still young at heart

and listening the love songs

Life cuts deep whoever we are

Same dagger that hurts the emperor

Kills the pauper too

So be happy with conviviality between me and you

Sun will greet us tomorrow

And will melt the sadness

Magic is not that mountain or in youth

It is in the spirit of Me and you

The station where you boarded last train

Leaving me all alone on that mountain

is still calling your name

tell me did you ever feel any shame

Where was I , you never sought

It was with the entire world that I fought

If your vigueur was so high

Why I have to cry

All the joy and strength was me and is in me

You always come as a voyager

Singing your songs

I knew that on mountain and here in city too

I was mountain river when you last saw me

Now I am travelling through planes

So I dance in mountains and planes

Whenever it rains

I was too strong for mountain

And too strong for plane

But I am happy for every voyager

Looking for happiness and singing his songs

I'm so intrigued by that picture!
its all I can do, to dam
    the many suffragist-'ic'
    and competed-for, love
    words
    it's inspiring within me..
    thanks for sharing

The very initial lines creat the moments.
