Rainy Night

Devansh

Rainy night,

puddles on the ground,

following the silence,

came a haunting sound.

I turned around,

but found no one,

hours left,

for the rising sun.

I felt a presence,

I wasn't alone,

who was it,

only God could've known.

That day I ran,

for my life,

I had two children,

and a wife.

Even now,

when I remember that night,

my face turns pale,

and I shiver in fright.
