Catrick

Draven

Catrick.

Oh where to begin?

Or to end?

I sit here

With Catrick

He looks at me

His fluffy fur

In need of patting

He is but a toy

But

I need him.

    (a great shorty, dear poet
thanks for inspiring these words below from me)
    'Projection'
is an amazing facility of our evolved, coping methodology
If we need it, we can believe
    in anything
from that Cast Away, Tom Hanks
and his 'smiling face on a ball'
    or Pinocchio..
we all utilise, what we have
    to curate the support system
    we choose..
    and those of us, blessed
    with Poetry in our lives
    to palliate our concerns
    can dedicate our ode's
    to those, items
who provide us, with the solace
    we need..

Haha, I am glad this inspired anything at all! But you are right with the theme of projection. Very interesting!

      Short but hot

Haha, hot would not be a word I would use to describe this, but thanks??!
