The Voice

kayewaye

2:38 am
And I can’t sleep
Finding my self looking at your pictures
Trying to figure out
If this is this what I really want
But Part of me got me looking at wedding videos
Cause I know this is exactly what I want
Life has its ways of speaking to you
Some at his darkest hrs
Some at its silence moments
Some even at its brightest
But when it speaks
There’s no ignoring it
It’s like that voice constantly playing in my head
Y’all may call it a ticking clock
In y’all head but I call it a voice
And when that voice speak
It hits deep
Part of the reason why
It’s 2:53 am
And I’m writing this to you
Be her king
Be her night
Guide her
Build her
Show her how it feels to be loved
Show her the way to a happy life
But most of all
Show her you will never fail her
Even if it means loosing it all
Uplift your queen
The voice speaks
Show her how to build
At each heart beat
Show her how to grow
Cause it ain’t love
If y’all not achieving and building together
 Turn her dreams to reality
The voice spoke to my soul
Give her family
And all ways be her peace
The voice spoke to me
Show her you have her back
Right or wrong
Show her what it truly mean
To give her your all
But if you fail her
You real regret it all
The voice also spoke to me
But yet it’s 3:01
And I’m still waiting on the right answers
Even though they are already in front of me
They say give it time and don’t rush it
But I can’t loose her
Your time ticks
But my voices speak
But yet it’s 3:05
nd I’m still trying to figure out how

    well written, like the way
you used the time stamps, to anchor
the spine of your write, really clever
    thanks for sharing
