Smile

by.anonymous

Everything about you lured me in,

I let your fingers trace every inch of my skin.

My heart raced as we lay in your bed,

but your smile was the only thought in my head.

I could die watching your face light up after I kiss you

and I would know,

its the best sight I could see before I go.

It kills me that your happiness will be someone else’s.

I just hope she appreciates the slant in your smile,

the way your top lip curls to show your teeth.

I hope she sees the beauty beneath something you hate.
