Nature

Audrey Cocker

Nature

I was walking by lost in my thoughts,

Inhaling the fresh pure air of country side,

Trying to collect my thoughts in flow of,

Words in composition of a new poem.

I stumbled into an unknown world of nature,

Unique beautiful sight took my breath away,

I praised my Almighty God for the,

Wondrous enthralling things He had created.

Pineapple, Mango, Apple Banana, Orange trees,

Clustered together smiling and nodding,

To each other having a gala conversation,

Of their own beautiful in their togetherness.

My ears caught the musical notes of chirping birds,

They presented a regal sight dressed by God,

In different colours of blue purple red white,

Flying playing hide and seek with friends.

I sniffed the fragrance of flowers in their bloom,

Graceful dance of lilies and roses in different hues,

Chrysanthemums, Marigolds, Sunflowers, Violets,

Swaying to the beat of rhythm of cool breeze.

I glanced forward to the most enthralling view,

Of sleek swift deer, frolicking elephants prowling lions,

Majestic tigers, grizzly bears, tall giraffes,

Brooding black panthers, spotted  leopards.

I was drawn to the sparking waters of blue ocean,

Played with the naughty vivacious dolphins,

Saw from safe distance the huge sharks,

Diving in and out from the clear frothy waters

With tears in my eyes, I knelt down to thank,

My Creator for His exquisite creation of nature,

So artistically  designed so wondrously created,

His splendid masterpiece on earth.
