The Untold Love

Thompson C

THE UNTOLD LOVE
Every inclination against his skin,
To me felt like a breath of oxygen,
As he held me so tight,
As if keeping alive was his fight,
As he let go of the deep embrace,
And I looked up at his face,
I saw fear in his eyes,
Sad but joyful on my part,
For the fear and tears in his eyes,
Told me so much of the love in his heart.

I know he loves me,
Though he has never told me,
I could sense it in his everyday living,
Day by day he stayed without leaving,
His daily support,
His daily report,
Might be like a routine,
But he’s done it since I was 18,
And even if it may feel stale sometimes.

Love takes time,
For us its like we flew through time,
Without him saying much,
But he's been there for me,
And apparently I love him too,
Everything about him,
His dimple,
His smile,
His height,
And his body,
He is one fine guy though.

Like a girl,
My feelings I have not told,
But with my actions I have,
We’ve just found ourselves in a sweet scenario,
Where neither of us wants to go back,
hence we head forward.

Back to reality,
I have chest pains,
Pain I got from the rain,
He kisses me and says everything will be alright,
Like in the movies,
We kissed in the rain,
Like in fairly tales,
We loved through the pain.
