One of my Dad’s favorite proverbs…
‘…il lupo perde il pelo ma non il vizio…’
(the wolf loses its fur but not its vice)
‘ The fly’s in the ointment,
the die has been cast’
It’s so difficult to change those feelings. I will forgive; but it’s so hard to forget…no matter how many years have gone by.
