Sometimes...without a Reason

Simplyalice

Sometimes blinded by the brightness

Again I see a coat of darkness

Growing like a black monster

Luring into the hole of despair

Gasping for the air and breathe

Struggling to live behind the black beneath

My soul wanted to be saved

Fighting against the strong urge to be lured

Darkness embracing me tightly

Crying, soothing and comforting slowly

Spreading its vigor and tentacles

Confining within burning circles

Steadily the melancholy is creeping in

No purpose, no sunlight to be seen

Feeling helpless in a trapped prison

All happening without a reason!

some memory's or rivers of reverie
    we choose to trace, back
    can overwhelm us sometimes
and your words capture those sensations
    really well, great imagery..
    thanks for sharing

The descending mood of depression grasps like a fist and borders on panic.
Very relateable though I am a positive minded person, the darkness is always a threat.

I discovered you today the 26th March so I'm having a look at som of your previous posts... you're good.
