DOPPELGANGER

Finchy

DOPPELGANGER

 Ray Finch

When I moved from there to here

Out on my own that was my fear

The many walks along the beach and pier

Were sometimes sad and with a tear

But now I’m seeing you everywhere I go

But how can that be, you’re not someone I know

Your face is here and your face is there

Each time I see you, I just stop and stare

So when I do please don’t show anger

I know it’s not you, you’re just a doppelganger
