This Is Me

NABI

I've finally manage to open up a bit
I hope I didn't give you a beat.
This is simply me
Something you're about to see.

I didn't know if I shocked you
Or worst, did I scare you?
This is me being honest
You might be on a protest.

My views and ways might be different
But this is how I am as a parent.
This is me being a mother
I might take it even further.

I'm not expecting you to understand
Because I know you cant withstand.
But what can I do, this is me
A kind of woman who can only be me.

There's more for you to see.
My flaws and strengths is like the sea.
I want to say I'm sorry,
'Cause this is me, someone I want you to see.

I am not a great and gorgeous woman
But I can say I am strong and faithful one.
Again, this is just me.
A very simple and boring one.
