Through your shades

littlegreenbag

Back in the day

It was all so different.

The nicest person on Earth -

That's what I thought about you.

And then slowly you let me see through your shades.

All these years...

Are those just wasted away?

My toxic trait is that I thought you'd understand.

But you always had to open my wounds again.

And you let me see through your shades.

I was never the first on your guest list.

And you keep wondering why you're not on mine either.

Are you still wondering?

I can already see through your shades.
