Forever Stays

flo_5

Summer eves and winter days

None of these forever stays

Pretty smiles and ugly lies

all visions and feelings will one day die

Happiness is not lost and sadness is not found

I sit, talk, dine, and lay with them

But never really belonged to mankind

I gently caress her skin

and fantasize about drinking her blood

I decorate my house with expensive things

and secretly pray for it to drown in the flood

I am not someone you want to know

Trust that feeling in your gut!
