Ignite

Almost

These tight spaces you fear
Have become my sanctuary
As it blankets me in darkness
Allowing me to think clearly once more
It hides my tears so I may cry
While you desperately cling to the light
Failing to ignite the candle of hope
You've placed in your own mind
I will not let you burn out
Even if there is nothing left for me
I've already begun to flicker
The smoke in my mind
Dances about
Suffocating me
