Sleep like a log

Violet bluebell( used to be yellow rose)

Sleep like a log
like a part of a tree
tender and calm
steady and settled on a patch of green grass
resting without a helpless sigh
and winds waking us
winds of the mind stirring us from sleep
gazing Beyond our duvet

sleep like a log
like that part of a tree
resting in a wise wonderful way
with a duvet comfortably comforting our minds from the day gone by
an oak like steady rest
steady with duvet cushioning us
as if like green grass
on log like sides
comforting us whilst we rest

a mind might be singing a more refreshing wake up song
when our eyes wake to greet the day
and the log like manner
that we once were in the night time
may now be like a breezy busy bird
running around on trees
a flower resting on a chair
thinking and wandering at the world
a squirrel so busy catching acorns
being a busy bee instead of
a restful log that we once were in the night

sleep like a log
sleep like a tree
resting for the night
without the wind unsettling your leaf like mind
then wake up and be like a flower resting on a chair
wandering at the world
or like a busy bee at work
unable to sit and rest for even ten minutes
reflect and pause

Great one - it inslpires me:

Still as a pank inside a trunk
he slept like a log completely drunk.

An inspiring write dear Rose - - to sleep like a log is healing to body and mind. Loved the way you liken it to all things natural.
