So Close Yet So Far

FallenAngel1πŸ•Š

For all the people missing loved ones they cannot touch, cannot hug
For all the people who find it just too much
And just want to kill this fucking bug
I too feel your pain and sorrow
But we have to stay strong for a better tomorrow
Foe all who suffer from mental health of any kind such as i
To quote John Lennon,"Come Together"
And we'll surely fly so high

So close yet so far
Like Bubbles
I trail to catch you ahead
Reflecting my dreams you run afar
Teasing me
You hide somewhere
Was it always like this ?
I wonder in my heart…
Like the mirage
I watch you disappear
Longing for you as an oasis
To catch and quench
You jolt the poor heart inside
Leaving me afar
Like a light
You show me the place
But as night
You disappear
Leaving me off trail
So close yet so afar
Measuring the distance in light years Ahead ….

To those who are close to you
You are millions of miles away
And from me, who is physically away
But you keep the total sway
Its mind that makes love shine
When i am at volga and you are at rhine
Every time i listen to wind chime
My heart sings your rhyme
Distance between bodies is easy to overcome
But nothing matters if mind and heart is numb
Only I can see so clearly you
One lying next is oblivious to that charm of you
Light that you emit
only reaches me and pierce my heart
others may glow in your shine
But never see that part of you
which is divine
We are a paranormal machine
In coffee you are sugar, i am caffeine
Lets celebrate the distance
that pulls us closer every second
May be soul is all that matter
Body is something anyone can shatter
Let us physically grow so apart
That our souls become work of Art

So close,yet so far
I cannot touch
But know where you are
Your over there, she's way over there,
Others are scattered about
And they're up there
So close,yet so far
Cannot hold
But know where you are

Your so far away
yet so close to my heart
I feel I can almost touch you
written sonnets of infatuation
stealing moments of happiness
trapped between the physical space
yet your soul entwined with mine
when you wrote your words of love

Your so close to my heart
Yet so far away
Our hearts ache your depart
We only wish we could all play
But with all that’s been done
I know it’s just a matter of time
Before we’re all playing in the sun

So close... Yet so far
Wanna know who you are
Neither that what you pretends to be
Nor who what you want me to see
You are a mystery
and the most certain thing I'd ever known
Let me know, I need to see
Are you who you claim to be?
I don't know what it is about you
But that doesn't matter to our fates
I am deeply in love with you.

As I look up at a shooting star
It looks so close yet so far
I make a wish for all who's lost
Come the spring we too shall defrost
And as I look up at the blazing sun
Sundog radiates for everyone
For all who've departed
For all who's broken hearted
And when that wish does come true
We'll meet on the patios for a cheers to you

So far yet so close
just like where the ocean
waves goes.
I wander in your soft embrace
with memories I can't erase.
My toes tingle as your waves beckon
brushing the sandy winds
I hold on to.
You're just an ocean away,
but it's such a cloudy day.

So close yet so far
So close to my heart
So far yet so close
Never to depart
So close
Yet so far
