Looking into the mirror of love
Seeing somebody
Person of perfection or opposite
Everyone watching at own somebody
Forgets their selves and just watch
Mirrors that became life
Not part of
An addiction
Mirrors of love makes possible to look outside
A new world
A wild jungle with hidden suprises
Sometimes enough food
Living forever
Maybe not, starving
Or deception
Eaten alive
Unpredictable
People believe a new world is needed
A life that needs two worlds
Forgetting it isn't always the best
More worlds, more division
Worlds aren't lungs
You can live without the other
One world brings already enough blood
To suffer and to live
An underrated secret treasure
People doesn't need mirrors to grow
Loving yourself is already enough
A new world can hurt permanently
Isn't needed to be alive
It's okay to stay
Maybe it makes you greater than ever

tried my best to follow and hopefully
I've gleaned the theme of your message
but sadly, a lot was lost in translation..
still I thank you! for choosing to share
your poetic passion with us
Do you think it's possible to give some examples?😅
That gives me an expression on where to focus to😬
Thanks btw for commenting
I think it's a language thing, more than poetry
don't worry, if you enjoy writing
and find it fun, just keep doing it
To be clear this is my replay on your reply😆 (gonna be long but on the positive side I guess)
Because of the fact that English is not my main language it's sometimes difficult to make the right sentences and especially in poetry. Poetry is all about using specific words to describe emotions, feelings, situations and my English is not that bad but not good enough to get into the advanced English. The biggest reason for that is because I don't speak English much or read English really often and if I watch movies I use the subtitles because everyone is lazy sometimes😄
The biggest reason why I write in English is because in my opinion it sounds so much more beautiful than Dutch (my main language). Sometimes I write a Dutch poem, not so really difficult tbh but idk English sounds more beautifully and a lot more people understand it.
But I think I am still going to write poems because it makes me more better at English and I really like to read poetry and sometimes try it myself.
I hope it's not too long to read😅 but I still always appreciate when people comment because it gives me more perceptions and insights.
I understand, maybe try writing one verse in Dutch
then translate it into English in the next verse
this may let you improve both at the same time
the poetry of your Dutch
and the eloquence of your English..
just an idea, all the best dear poet
(and remember to have fun)
