Prelude
You open a door
The night is black with perfume
The moon has a cold heart
It is full of small jealousies
Night flickers an arrangement
Of stars
Epilogue
You open a door
The moon is blind
It drags the sea along
Like a criminal
You of no beginning
Or end
Of who you once were
As the dream began
The Spirit moves closer
The after-light opens
Spilling stars into the infinite

- Comment from author about the poem: I have a few styles I like to write. I guess this is my "literary"style. I switch around, but each voice is mine. I guess I'm a multiple personality poet. Not really.
