A Whisper of Grace

Charmaine Bartlett

A Whisper of Grace,

To my soul's waiting ear.

I long for the Lord

needing him to be near.

My heart feels bereft

The pain is so great-

Life has wearied me,

with such sadness of late.

So needing His love,

I cry out my need-

confused and distraught,

yet surely He'll lead.

Stay with me dear Lord,

I won't make it alone.

Purify my heart,

That your grace may be shown.
