a robin sang

jim56

while i was sitting beneath a tree
a robin came and sang to me
bluebells started ringing to robins tune
such a lovely song  my heart began to swoon

with his bright red chest gleaming in the sun
happy as can be having so much fun
every note in tune to the melody
bluebell the were ringing in perfect harmony

i wont forget the robin  that sang to me that day
in my mind for ever his song will always stay
hope he will come back and sit beneath the tree
and sing again once more his robin song to me
