The Strange Consequences of the Modern Age

Eugene S.

It was a steady buzzing
For all of a month
The fog continued for two

Really a minor thing
As breathing was the focus
For a very long time

All of the hair falling out
As you're eaten alive
On a breathing machine

But life slowly resumes
Back into the groove
Recovery

Then the quick bursts come
Sudden electrical jolts
The buzzing in the brain

What a strangely wretched thing
Is Long COVID-19
Who knows if it will end

How brave and poignant. What a time we are living through, where we are experiencing the unimaginable. The very best wishes to you.

Thank you. All is well, just really odd side effects after so long being detached from it. Just thought I should chronicle it in some way. Thanks for reading.
