By The Window

NABI

Standing by the window,
Staring at the shadow.
It used to be a couple,
But now it's a solo.

The night is so calm,
Because you don't have to come.
I can now hear music so mellow,
No more rowdiness by the window

I can now sleep so soundly.
I don't have to worry about your infidelity.
Resting on my favorite pillow,
No more crying by the window.

I am finally free,
From a relationship that's been killing me.
You said I will regret and feel hollow,
Surprisingly, I am now smiling by the window.

      It’s better to be alone
Than to be broken of being hooked
      Well crafted dear Nabi
