Desires

_m_ostwanted

We are made blinded by things we want

Desires made us foolish

Like a warrior, vulnerable at war

We can't unfold a tale folded by nature

Some stories we really can't change

The more we try to solve the puzzle

More and more confusing it gets

Do not make promises when you're happy

But a state of ecstasy will break you

We ignore the truth and embrace lies

When we're so attached to the things that made us foolish

Then the truth come back haunting and hurting

And regret becomes a cup we drink from

Sometimes the things we desire

Put us in a situation where we do not think

Of the consequences of our choices

But if you ever found yourself choosing between

Yourself and something you desire

Always choose yourself
