When did the world become so dark?
I guess I somehow missed that part.
I can't seem to put my mind at ease
Because it involves both - you and me.
I couldn't stay asleep tonight.
What a shame, am I right?
But I know I'm not the only one,
This is nowhere near fun.
My prayers go out to everyone
Who is up there with the sun,
Who lost someone close,
God, please show mercy to those.
