If I could make a universe
I’d start with you
You with your dark hair
And those big brown eyes
With the aroma of
Your perfume
Spreading kindness and words
Gently layering every space with
Your thoughtful affections
Embolden everything
With consideration
And complete it all
Making things
Strong yet tender
So that the world will see
Love is the aperture of acceptance
The true lens of possibilities.
If I were to make love
I’d begin and end with you
With your wide, sensuous lips
And your curvy generous hips
Warming the flowers
With the glow of your sun
Your soft velvet skin
Transform the rainy days
Into every color
So the people of
Every rainbow
Feels free and breathes
Welcome air
Embracing peace
Like when you hold me
In your arms
When we savor our union.
