miss misery

jark

i just get up

to get to working on working on something

i just get up

thinking 'bout what it was

i just get

lost in a memory of love

i just get up to

miss who i could’ve become,

i hear in my head her start to whisper,

i just get up to get to the place where i kissed her

and its bombed out beyond recognition

this hole in the city... before, it looked so pretty

but i burned up my manuscripts and hit the ignition

i never wanted to see her again not even in my head

so i just get up

i just get up to get up to lay down

i shuffle around

town to town

never am i quicker than her whisper

never do i get to miss her, miss misery
