The past may not always be hidden within our hearts;

It comes through every reflection of you,

I thought you were gone until it rained today.

You were in everything that makes me feel me;

You were hidden between my laughter

and never quivered when I was sad.

Thanks for going through the hurdles of times and seasons with me;

I thought my lamp left me in the dark but your reflection tipped me off the calluses of darkness;

I am here now staring into your embrace because the rain brought your essence to me.
