How do you let go,
Of someone who knows your soul.
How do you get set free,
To go be all you can be?
I know that you'd be delighted to know,
Without you I'm nothing.
I could lie to everyone and say I'm fine,
But I'd be bluffing.
you did everything for
me, you did anything to
keep me safe.
but it didn't work out that
way.
I think that I should be alone, try to
keep myself safe from you.
Of course I regret the way I treated you.
I always blamed you for our relationship problems, although I’ve always known that I was the one who didn't know how to love.
I had never been taught how to love;
You were the only one who had given it to me.
How could I break the heart of someone who loved me?
I should have told you my issues,
Yet I didn't…
I will never forgive myself,
Even if I didn't cause all the problems.

An honest writing . Sometimes it’s difficult to open up to people .. we all make mistakes ..
The meaning of this poetry goes well beyond just opening up to someone. more of breaking someone.
But ur right we all make mistakes from which most of the time we learn. 😉
