We always Knew…

Simplyalice

That plain day, saw you standing at the door,

Rendezvous, we always feared and longed,

Now Etched memorable, liberated beyond the cosmic shore.

Lying beside you, in the icy cold February night,

Shaking up from a bad dream,

Felt your arms embracing me tight.

Never wanted to wake up from the beautiful haze,

Smiling and snoring, in my deep slumber,

Blissfully, went back to my world of daze.

Whispers and the words, we never spoke,

Few moments, stolen from the passing hours,

Our tears washed the guilt of vows, we broke.

Feeling your touch, so vivid and clear,

Still hear your soft murmur, counting my breaths,

Miss your warmth, trembling in my nightmare.

Us, will always remain an unfulfilled desire,

And the talks, the smell of morning coffee and running errands,

You stop with a kiss, ever I yearned to say more.

Endless years of wait, with no resentment,

Behold, we hold no promise of future either,

At the crossroads for some day, we live for that moment.

Our encounters are very rare and few,

Creating memories, like a timeless cherish,

This distance my love, is our destiny we always knew…

Wow. I love this for it's very personal decoration with intimate moments, which of course are the core of a loving experience.

Into my favourites, so impressed with your style here.
