My Breath of Sunshine

I compare thee for me ,

as a fish for 

their sea 

 

You are the reason for 

every breath I take ,

it doesn't matter 

if I'm asleep 

or awake 

 

I can feel your presence 

around me

all the time ,

it's not water though 

it's like the warmth 

of beautiful sunshine 

 

Without you 

there would be 

nothing to keep me 

afloat ,

you are the liquid sunshine 

that holds up 

my boat
