Reptiles

ModernBard

People do not want a rebel

As much as they suppose.

When you’re with them on the level,

They too get frozen toes.

From back here it all makes sense

When you truly listen.

When the world is really tense,

Big egos tend to glisten.

Unlike truly human beings,

They are more like lizards:

Repulsed by warm and fuzzy things,

They feast upon cold gizzards.
