secret

Miss Begotten

I have a secret

It’s only mine to know

You beg me to tell it

You can’t make the raven crow

I have a secret

I mustn't share

You beg to know it

I should tell you to beware

I have a little secret

It’s trapped inside my head

If you try to get it out

You might just end up dead

I have a secret

I’m dying to share

Would you like to hear it?

First you have to swear

I have a little secret

I promise I won’t lie

Wouldn’t you tell it?

Cross your heart and hope to die

I have a secret

About a certain someone

A little birdie told it

I haven't told anyone

I have a little secret

But I'll keep it like a promise

Will you break it?

Only if you’re honest.

I have a secret

About the last words I wrote

I made you a promise

Now it dangles from my throat
