Moonlight echos
Cascades of royalty
Embolden the steel
Of the night sky
The evening's laughter
Pheromones scatter
A wispful eye
Meets mine
Tears of yesteryear
Not seeking morrow
Divine eclipse
Of eternal blue
While coffee brews
And scornful rue
I scatter ashes
Letting go the reins
