Red string

Susanne

The red string of fate

The string that upon your asking opens its gates

As a bright light envelopes you

So blinding so bright

As it guides you through the gates of fate

It’s questioning you

It’s judging you in such a formally manner

It’s determining if you are worthy to have a good fate gift by the gods

If you are not worthy you are thrown away

Like an apple you are slowly rotting away dying a slow and painful death

The string…The string of fate…

The string that will determine if you have a good life or not

I do like the lore of the red string of fate
but mainly because, it's potentially limitless
    in length
and so, you can miss your opportunities
    time n again
and still have that same string cross your path,
but if you stay still and give-in
to those stumbles and momentary defeats
the string will also remain listless
    and seemingly distant..
so yes, fate can be cruel
but we still have some say
    in what 'good' we can
    curate
    out of our own lives...
(good imagery and expressive writing, thanks for sharing)
