Stand up

Michael William Reid

Just stand up raise your head

And stand up on your feet

Just stand up and lift your voice

You will not know defeat

Just stand up steady your hands

They have no need to shake

Just stand up and hold your truth

There is nothing they can take

Just stand and walk you'll make it through

And it will be ok

One foot in front of the other

And you'll make it through the day

Until the day you walk into the land

Of blue and sunny skies

Just live and love and remember this

Life is made of tries

Life can be very difficult and nobody is perfect .. people make mistakes and struggle . I guess all we can do is try our best , but sometimes our best never feels enough does it
