Rhythm of the Rain

 

**l find much comfort in the rhythm of the rain,

With its gentle & pitter -pat sound.

Not like the "norm" which exhausts my brain,

But it's soothing to hear the droplets hit the ground.

*And I'm not too interested in lightening that much,

For the brightness & noise hurts my head.

Rather I'll take the rain's calming touch,

Along with rolling clouds of thunder instead.

**So now it's slowed to nothing at all,

Until it returns it won't be the same.

I'll miss how the droplets so elegantly fall,

Where I find comfort in the rhythm of the rain.
