Panic if Your God Is Small

Sonoran Bard

We know the climate is changing rapidly,

We just don’t think anyone knows why.

We’re not trying to fart in the face of science.

We know none of this is sustainable.

We’re on ice age number five,

I think they made movies about this,

I’m pretty sure we didn’t cause the other four

I didn’t see any cars in any of the movies,

No factories making and testing nukes.

No cavemen burning and chopping trees.

No one farting out their Taco Bell into the atmosphere.

I can’t stress about what’s in someone else’s control.

Well I can, but… then I’d be more stressed.

I already have too much stress.

My coffee maker is taking too long now,

My cell phone battery is dying sooner,

They didn’t have my favorite socks in stock,

I lost the USB receiver to my mouse,

So now I can’t use my trackball anymore,

I can hear my dog pissing on the carpet,

And the cookies I just bought don’t fit in any of my cups.

I don’t have time to worry about a whole planet,

One that Revelations says is going to get annihilated anyway.

I’m more concerned about the hearts and souls of all of us.

Because the end is coming.

I feel it in the 5G waves.
